Gajar Halwa is a delicious Indian sweet dish. I made by using grated carrots, milk, sugar, ghee, cardamom powder and cashew nuts.
This Gajar Halwa is a mouth watering dessert that you easily cook at home and definitely love it.
Here My Daawat is sharing an easy Gajar Milk Halwa Recipe with step by step pictures which help to make it more easy.
1 cup of fresh grated carrots.
5/2 cups of milk.
1 tbsp ghee.
1.5 tbsp sugar or as your taste.
10-15 chopped cashews nuts(kaju).
1 tbsp kishmish
¼ tsp cardamom powder(elachi powder).
1.firstly heat 1 tbsp ghee in a deep heavy based pan on medium flame.
2.Now add grated carrots and saute for 4-5 minutes on low to medium flame.
3. Now add milk and cardamon powder. Stir continuously on medium flame for 15 minutes.
4.Now add chopped cashew nuts and kishmish. Cook for 6-8 minutes.
5. When the milk has reduced then add sugar. Stir well and cook for 3-4 minutes over low flame.
6. Now serve delicious dessert Gajar Milk Halwa .
