Stuffed Lauki Paratha Recipe

Stuffed Lauki Paratha Recipe/bottle gourd/dudhi paratha is another healthy and delicious flat bread recipe.Lauki is high in dietary fibre and low in calories.Stuff is prepared with crushed lauki,some spices and gram flour.Today I am sharing Stuffed Lauki Paratha Recipe which is usally served in breakfast with sauce or curd.

Ingredients:

1 cup Crushed Lauki(Bottle Gourd/Dudhi).
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
1 small finely chopped onion.
½ tsp Lemon juce.
2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste.
1 tsp cumin seeds.
2 tsp Fennel powder(sauf).
1/2 tsp Garam masala.
¼ tsp Chilli powder.
½ tsp Turmeric powder.
1 tsp Coriander powder(Dhaniya).
3 chopped green chilli.
1/4 cup Roasted gram flour(besan) .
2 cups Wheat flour(Gehu ka aata).
1 tbsp curd(dahi).
2-3 tbsp oil.
Required salt.

How to cook Stuffed Lauki Paratha Recipe


1 . Take wheat flour in a large bowl and add salt,1/4 tsp turmeric powder mix well and knead smooth dough through water,keep aside for 20 minutes.
2 . Now take 1 tbsp oil in a pan and heat then on medium flame.
3 . When heated then add cumin seeds and allow to crackle.
4 . After that add green chilli,chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste sauté for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
5 . Now add crushed Lauki(bottle gourd),1/4 tsp turmeric powder,salt to your taste and cook for 3-4 minutes.
6. When water absorbs then add red chilli powder,fennel powder,coriander powder,roasted gram flour(besan),garam masala ,mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
7 . After that add lemon juce.chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
8 . Now off the flame and keep aside to cool .
9 . Divide stuff and dough to equal size parts.
10. Now take 1 dough ball and roll it into 3-4 inch round size and fill the stuff ball and seal it properly.
After that again roll stuffed ball into 7-8 inch circular size.
11. Now heat tawa on medium flame and put Stuffed Lauki Paratha on it.
12. And apply oil or ghee both the side and cook them.
13. When it golden brown from both the side then keep in plate.
14. Now serve the hot delicious Stuffed Lauki Paratha Recipe with sauce or curd.
